Hot and Cold Weekend in Colorado

The weekend started out with our "Monster Mash" at school. It was a really warm evening and my layers were totally not needed. Kim and I dressed up as a pair, and decorated her trunk for the "trunk-or-treaters." It was quite fun and the kids loved it. They really made out like bandits with the candy.






















Last night Daniel and I found our new favorite restaurant: a new sushi place that is literally around the corner. They were giving us complimentary things all night (soup, salad, baby octopus!) and when they came over with this beautiful fruit swan, Daniel had to take a picture.


















This morning we woke up to a few inches of snow! We knew it was supposed to be cold, but this was a surprise! Gus was LOVING life outside. Check out my first attempt at a video on the blog!

Weekend fun

We had a nice relaxing weekend...
Spicy Pickle dinner with Kim, Lou and Ian (Emily was entertaining her friends and Alex popped in for a quick hello...) Of course we played Clue and after much debate, Daniel decided not to cheat and Lou was the victor (although I am still the Clue champion!) May I was next, and the last game was giving Ian a bath. Fun times!









Today we went to Leah and Andrew's for a bagel brunch. Even pumpkin cream cheese can't compare to NY bagels. Zoe is the cutest! She was using baby sign all over the place!

Knock knock...

Who's there? Oh! It's brother Ben. Life just isn't interesting until Ben shows up unexpectedly and shares his crazy adventures. He spent the night and we heard about his travels, and then he was off to California in the morning. If you blink, you miss him!

Sorry it took me forever to get some wedding pictures up here, but here they are. Jayme and Ken(neth) had a gorgeous day, and a fun-filled weekend. I was really bad and didn't have my camera out much because I was too busy having fun! If anyone has pictures, please email them to me! I do have some more from the whole weekend, but I just realized they're on Daniel's computer so I'll have to post again with those later!
