Ten Years Later...

Wow! We had a blast at our high school reunion last night. Karyn, Jayme and I went together and started the evening with drinks in the city (probably a bad idea looking back...) When we got to the reunion it was in full swing and there were familiar faces everywhere. It was so good to see people that we'd lost touch with. I was so glad that Emily, Vinny and John were there!

Happy Turkey Day!

We had lots of yummy food and nice company for Thanksgiving at the Anker's house. Of course we took tons of pictures, so here are just a few. Check out all that food! There were 30 people there, so at the table there are about half of us. Lisa, sorry to break it to you that you're in one picture! Aside from the food, most of the other attention was on Maizy - Jayme's aunt's dog. She was so cute!

Pre-dinner on Thanksgiving

We started our Thanksgiving Day with visits: a breakfast visit in Forest Hills, a visit to see Jess and a visit to see my family. It was great to see the adorable nursery Jess created, and to see her so close to giving birth! I hope baby "L" likes her new clothes. Next stop was at Grandma Mimi and Papou's house. We were so happy to get to spend a little time with them. Last, we went back to Janet Lane and saw my parents, Ben and Rachel. There was a lot of cooking going on over there, so no time for pictures! Luckily, we made it back east in time to see some pretty fall leaves. I miss those oranges and reds in Colorado!

Party Time

D' and Matt decided to have a little shin-dig at their house. Tons of fun, of course. Here are some cute, scary, and sneaky pictures:

Zoe's First Birthday!

Zoe was so cute at her birthday party. She loved having all the other kids around, and she loved the orange frosted cupcakes. She told me she was upset because she couldn't blow out her candle. She also told me that she liked our present best. Who needs all those toys when you have cute clothes? Even though she was telling me lots of things, she didn't want me to hold her. She wanted to read her book all by herself. Miss Independent. It was great to see Kathy, Sondra, Andrew, Zachary, and of course Leah, Andrew and Zoe!

Happy Birthday Jessica!

Jessica had a fun-filled night turning 29! Woo hoo! I was told that she met the man of her dreams while wearing those beer goggles :)

5th Annual Scavenger Hunt

Happy Halloween! D' and Amy planned a frightfully fun night! We started the festivities at Amy and Jake's house (the farmer and the field) with yummy snacks and tons of costume pictures. Then, we drove up to Blackhawk, where we split into teams and got "The List." The costumes were awesome, Katie, Kevin, Daniel and I won at blackjack, and our team tied for first place in the scavenger hunt! Yay for Halloween! Can't wait to see what next year will bring!
