Changes all around...

I don't have a picture to go with this (yet) but wanted to share that I'll be teaching kindergarten next year! I'm really excited (and nervous) about the whole thing. We have half-day kindergarten out here so I'll only be working in the mornings, and have afternoons with the baby! Yay! More info and pictures to come....

PostSecret is awesome!

This past weekend, Melanie and I went to see Frank Warren speak in Fort Collins. We also managed to eat more than we could have imagined. But, that's not the point. Frank Warren started PostSecret, a project where people anonymously mail in their secrets and he posts them online or in his books. It's awesome and if you've never seen it, check out the link! He updates them every Sunday. So cool!

Passover festivities

The Barons gathered in Denver for Passover. We had a great time at the seder with Alice, Bruce, Kenneth, Jayme, Kathy, Leah, Andrew, Zoe, Quinn, Sondra and Zachary. Whew! Lots of cooking and eating. I forgot my camera, but luckily Jayme took a picture! Zoe and Zack were very entertaining. Alice, Bruce, Jayme, Ken, Daniel and I went to Colorado Springs the next day. We had to visit the giraffes! Obviously that's the highlight. Jayme loved feeding them most of all. We also went to Garden of the Gods. Luckily we had a gorgeous day!

Happy B-Day KT!

Girls night birthday celebration - yay! Jill made a delicious dinner and the most fun birthday cupcakes! We had a great time as always and toasted the birthday girl. Too bad she and I could only have a tiny sip of champagne!

Denver Aquarium

I donated off a day at the aquarium for 2 students at my school's annual auction. It was so fun! I had never been there before, and the girls had a blast looking at the fish, having lunch and getting their faces painted. Petting the stingrays was the best!

K-Lynn's night out

Amy's Aunt K-Lynn is getting married -- girls night out! We had so much fun at this great place called Door 9. Really yummy tapas and Katie and I were even able to get some fun virgin drinks. We went out afterwards - and Matt and Sloan crashed the girls party. Tons of fun!

Meeting Hendrix

It seems like ages ago that we went to Melanie and Silas' to meet little Hendrix. He's a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and just the cutest thing ever. We hear he's gotten so much bigger - Gus might have more interest when Hendrix is more his size. He barely gave the puppy a sniff before he pranced away to play with the tennis ball. Oh, well!
