Oh, Baby!

We found out that I'm pregnant on January 18th. I woke Daniel up with this cute onesie saying, "We're going to need this in 9 months!" The due date is September 25th and we're super excited!

The Luck of the Irish

So luck would have it that Rob came into town just as Daniel was leaving for his new job training in Dallas. They did get to spend about half of a day together, and that was better than nothing. The week flew by, and I met up with Rob, Matt, D', Elle, Liberty and Barry at Sabor Latino on Friday night. Then Saturday it was a gorgeous day for the St. Patty's day parade downtown. Tons of fun was had by all!

Baby Quinn

Quinn Mateo was born on Sunday, March 2nd... a little earlier than expected. I spent the night with Zoe (what an adventure!) as Leah and Andrew were in the hospital. Now, there are 4 in the VanZelm family! Welcome, Quinn!

Amy's Grand Opening!

Last night was the celebration of Amy's next chapter - opening her own private practice! "The Sustainable Self" is what she named her psychotherapy counseling practice and she is all set to go! The fun space on Tennyson that she has created is warm, inviting, and full of good energy. It's in the back of a boutique called Love Your Earth - check it out! We are all so proud of her! Yay, Amy!

Mackenzie turns one!

A girls night celebration was just what Mackenzie needed as she turned one! The night was hysterical between watching her open presents, loving a string and a tag the most, and running around in her birthday suit! We won't mention the little present she left on the rug! Happy birthday, cutie Mack!

Random Updates!

Things have been relaxed but fun over in our neck of the woods. Daniel, Melanie and I had a fun, spring-like day at the dog park with Gus. Daniel was all over the place taking pictures of other people's dogs, but he managed to find time to snap one of us!
That night we went out to dinner with our neighbors, Allison and Doug, for some yummy falafel and hummus. Then it was back to our house for Scategories! Love that game!
