Post-wedding party

Liberty and Barry couldn't bear to say goodbye to their friends after the wedding, so they planned a party for the following night! Coincidentally it was Rob's birthday so Liberty got him a cake and we all sang to him. We had fun eating, drinking, and being merry. Gus was excited about it too!

Winter Wonderland Wedding

We had a white-knuckled drive through a blizzard out to Morrison for Liberty and Barry's wedding. It was gorgeous though, and we were so happy to hear that the planned outdoor wedding was going to be held inside. It was a beautiful ceremony and we (meaning the girls) danced the night away to the fun music. Daniel was so happy to have Rob out here!

Snack, Snuggle and Read

Friday was my last day of school before.... 5 WEEKS OFF! Woo hoo! We had so much fun playing board games all day. Can you believe an 8 year old beat me at Clue? I was so close...

Snowshoe hut trip

We had such a fun time this weekend! Even though the forecast said 15 degrees with the windchill, we managed to keep warm. Snowshoeing for a mile was perfect - the snowy pillows on every tree branch made me forget how heavy the pack on my back was. I can't believe people do this for many miles at a time! The boys raced ahead and apparently had a bit of a fight - Daniel wound up down in the snow, go figure. Leah needed suspenders to keep up her non-maternity ski pants - so funny! We arrived at the hut and couldn't believe how cute it was! The Andrews quickly got the fire going and it was toasty warm before we knew it. We spent our time eating, drinking hot chocolate, eating more, playing cards, and entertaining Zachary and Zoe with songs, books and fun. The cutest was Zachary saying "Zoo-ey," and we'll forget the fact that he likes Daniel more than me. The hike back this morning seemed way shorter (perhaps because we ate all of our food so our backpacks were lighter?) The sunshine on the trees and snow made everything sparkle. It was gorgeous!

Holiday Party

Last night was my school holiday party. We braved the weather and drove all the way to the other side of the world, but...
the food was yummy and it was a good time.

Hanukkah Harry strikes again!

We had a fun time at Leah and Andrew's house for Hanukkah this year. As usual, we picked names and bought gifts for a secret someone... I got these things for Sondra - a cookbook, yoga ball, and some homemade greeting cards! Leah bought me some nice things from Aveda . Zoe wasn't feeling well, but Zachary pushed her baby around to amuse us. Leah cooked homemade suvganyot - YUM!

Career Day

My class was so cute on career day - so many of them want to be sports figures when they grow up. Check out Lily the movie star! She even brought her Oscar - it was a soccer trophy :)

Fun Times at Girls Night

D' cooked a yummy dinner and we said, "How come we never take pictures at girls night?"... so here are a few! There is only one boy allowed on Thursdays, and that is little Max!

Ten Years Later...

Wow! We had a blast at our high school reunion last night. Karyn, Jayme and I went together and started the evening with drinks in the city (probably a bad idea looking back...) When we got to the reunion it was in full swing and there were familiar faces everywhere. It was so good to see people that we'd lost touch with. I was so glad that Emily, Vinny and John were there!

Happy Turkey Day!

We had lots of yummy food and nice company for Thanksgiving at the Anker's house. Of course we took tons of pictures, so here are just a few. Check out all that food! There were 30 people there, so at the table there are about half of us. Lisa, sorry to break it to you that you're in one picture! Aside from the food, most of the other attention was on Maizy - Jayme's aunt's dog. She was so cute!
