Summertime!

We have been busy! June flew by with the end of the school year, and now I'm back to school with a new class. Whirlwind!
Jonah came with Melanie and me on 2 different hikes. The first, Garden of the Gods, was a great attempt - a stop at Dunkin' Donuts makes everything great (especially since we had to drive an hour to get there!) but the hot sun and me being sick was a bad combo so we wound up calling it quits early. The next attempt was better... but only on the way down the trail. I think Jonah needs some more hiking practice on short, flat trails for now!
Jonah stayed home with Daniel while I went to Breckenridge for the weekend with my fantastic girl friends... it was a great couple of days complete with lots of wine, talks, a birthday celebration for me and a stop on the way home to get our noses pierced!
The week of my birthday was nonstop fun! So much to do, so little time :)
