Catching up...

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks (newest to oldest.)

Here are some bath/tushie shots from today after Daniel bathed Jonah.

He's been loving his food - sweet potatoes, bananas and pears were the new foods the past couple of weeks. Next up is squash and different cereals. Jonah definitely makes a mess when he eats!

One day after work, I arrived at Jackie's house to pick Jonah up and I was greeted by grinning Jonah in a bright pink hat! Too funny!

He also met my sister, Aunt Rachel, for the first time. She brought cute turtle gifts from Buffalo and Jonah loved spending time with her.

We went for his 6 month checkup at the doctor and Jonah was all smiles just seconds after a shot, crazy kid!

Cousin Zachary loves reading to Jonah (here they were reading about Shabbat) and there's a family shot from a Friday as we were getting ready to go to a Shabbat dinner at Dr. Mike's (the pediatrician we met at the hospital when Jonah was born.)

Jonah went on his first swing ride and loved it! He was so happy and laughing - I wished I could have taken a video but didn't have enough memory on my camera at the time :(

Look Who's Talking and Sitting!

Can you believe this baby boy will be 6 months old in just 3 days?? Time is flying...
Jonah has lots to say and since so many people keep telling me to take more videos, here you go!
Also, he sat up without support for the first time this week. He can only last 30-60 seconds but each day it's longer and longer! Other updates - Jonah's been loving his avocado and we also tried rice cereal which he doesn't seem to like but we're going to keep trying! Next on the menu will be sweet potatoes, yum! He had his first cold this past week, no fun to know he's sick, but he didn't seem to mind too much. We went to the doctor to make sure everything was OK and we found out that Jonah weighs a whopping 17 pounds, 4 ounces! Wowzers!

Flights and Food!

We've been busy these past few weeks. First, Jonah took his first ride on an airplane when he and I went to visit his Grandma Andrea, Grandpa Stan, and Great Grandma Mimi in Lake Havasu. The weather was great and it was a very relaxing few days. Then Grandma Alice came to visit us here and she spent lots of time with Jonah. In the slideshow pictures you'll see Quinn's birthday party and some fun shots from restaurant week here in Denver. I love taking advantage of those great meals out! Daniel and I even got to have a date night while Jonah stayed home with Grandma. Such a treat! Yesterday we gave Jonah his first "solid" food - Avocado mixed with breastmilk. It definitely was NOT solid, but so fun and he seemed to love it! He ate it again today and he's already getting better with the spoon. Check out the video - enjoy!

Rolley Polley

We are having so much fun with baby JAB. We finished our infant massage classes (which Jonah loved) and went to another music class. He likes playing the drums the best! Since the weather has been so nice, we've been doing a lot of walking and today we went on a nice hike with Melanie. Jonah has been "talking" lots - he loves to hear the sound of his own voice. He smiles constantly and now he's laughing too which is super cute. I think he's ticklish in his armpits! Enjoy watching this video of his first "trick."

Here are some pictures from the past couple of days... hope you enjoy them!

4-month-old-fun

We are loving life with Jonah. He has become such a little person with his own awesome personality. He is a pretty chill baby most of the time, but he is so much more alert now! He loves playing on the floor and grasping at toys. He's doing great at daycare and even came to visit me at school a couple of days last week! My students love him :) Night time has been going pretty well too - Jonah still wakes up during the night but we both don't lose too much sleep so it's no big deal!

Jonah brought me flowers today - such a sweetie :)

And, we finally finished his nursery!
