Lake Havasu

For anyone I haven't told - my parents are moving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. They just finished spending about a month there getting their new house ready. Luckily we were able to visit them last weekend. It's a beautiful place! We loved seeing their house and how happy they are there. Here are pics of the new abode, plus our weekend adventures. On our first day we took the Dixie Belle boat tour of a section of the lake. The weather was a little chilly but we had fun anyway. We learned some interesting history about the area and got to see the famous London Bridge - which is now the largest antique in the United States. Click on the link to learn more about the bridge! After the boat ride, we walked around the Englishtown and along the side of the lake. Daniel was obsessed with taking pictures all weekend. Most of these were taken with his new lens. Very cool!

The second day we were there, we had chilly, windy weather so we stayed in most of the day. We played many games of May I. Fun, fun! On our last day we drove to Hoover Dam on the way to the Vegas airport. It was pretty awesome to see! The picture of the Colorado River among the mountains was from a stop off of the highway. The scenery in the southwest is gorgeous! We are already looking forward to our next visit!
